28 March 2018 – Dorset School Games Swimming at Canford School

In the afternoon it was the turn of the swimmers to shine in the pool at Canford. What was impressive was the spirit of the team where we had all pupils cheering on each other throughout all of the races, and this certainly spurred everyone on. This was backed up by Charlotte, who said enthusiastically, “I loved supporting my friends at swimming.”   Every single student worked to their maximum potential and did not let the occasion faze them and there were plenty of medals that were brought home. I would like to thank our magnificent staff that lent out equipment to other schools to assist their pupils, swam with our pupils and even swam with pupils from other schools. This certainly displayed the ‘Victoria Spirit’ and was fundamental to the success of the day. Finally, to summarise the day, it is best left to Chris and Maddie who both declared excitedly, “I loved everything.”
