Fire safety is an important part of our everyday lives, and today we welcomed Karen Towner from the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service for some informative and fun sessions for our students. Each session highlighted the risks involved in various situations, starting with a story and moving onto a safe/unsafe card game before the students had the opportunity to try on some uniforms and interact with various fire safety equipment. The students had fun, but also learned some important lessons to prepare them for hazards and risks in school and the wider world. We are very grateful to Karen for her time today and to our own Duty Fire Officer Sean Mogg for organising.
