A wonderful donation

On Friday 26th January, Victoria welcomed fundraiser Ron Jenkins and his Daughter Sandy. Ron spends a lot of his time raising money for children’s good causes and charities, sometimes donating money he has saved throughout the year from his own pocket. Over the course of 20 years he has raised over £40,000 for good causes and is always on the look-out for where the money can make the most difference. We were very fortunate to be chosen by Ron, who has paid for the provision of a new changing trolley for our pool. A changing trolley provides safer transfers, comfortable positioning, and a secure space for our staff to assist our pool users and this donation replaces one which had some serious rust issues. Victoria is very grateful to Ron and Sandy who can be assured that this equipment will greatly improve the day to day lives of our students.
