Bournemouth Parent Carer Forum

Do you feel nervous when trying to represent your child at meetings? Do you feel that you won’t speak up because it won’t make a difference? Is it because you feel no one will listen or because decisions have already been made? Would you like more confidence to speak up during meetings?

The Bournemouth Parent Carer Forum is holding a special needs conference at the Miramar Hotel, Overcliff Drive Bournemouth on Tuesday March 10th from 9.30am to 3pm. Seminars will be held throughout the day on how to effectively communicate for your child at meetings and communication needs and difficulties in the classroom. There is also the opportunity to attend one to one advice sessions. Steve Percival – Regional & National Advocacy Lead and Emma Draper – SALT & DHUFT Services Manager will be talking and running these sessions. The event is completely FREE but please ensure that you book your place for each seminar that you wish to attend & the advice sessions, as numbers are limited. There will also be information stands representing a wide spectrum of special needs services. You can book via email bpcf.events@outlook.com or by phoning this number 07585404335.
