Bowread Performance

We’ve had a delightful afternoon of music provided by the entertaining duo Bowreed. Bowreed are Fred Holden (fiddle) and Ben Trott (guitar).

Bowreed are a dynamic fiddle and guitar duo who specialise in music from Ireland and Scotland. They have played at major folk festivals such as Sidmouth and Warwick, as well as for countless private events as a ceilidh band.

Fred and Ben put on a very special performance for us as our students joined in with percussion instruments and engaged in some Celtic dancing.

Their visit was organised through ‘Music for Dorset Schools’ which is supported by SoundStorm Music Education Agency.

We’ve really enjoyed ourselves and are very grateful to Bowreed, SoundStorm and Belinda Ellicott for a great concert.
