Elliot and Tony Talk Autism

On Saturday June 10th Arne student Elliot and VIBE Radio manager Tony Rudd were guest speakers at the Autism Show, which was held at the London Excel. The show is a national event for autism, in association with the National Autistic Society, with talks, clinics and workshops. Tony spoke about how he has developed our school radio station into a valuable tool for working with our students with autism and how being different is something to be embraced. He also talked about his time on Britain’s Got Talent. Elliot, who was billed as ‘The Autistic Ventriloquist’, performed his self-penned act with his trusty sidekick ‘McCow’. His act went down well with all ages. The event was an invaluable experience for Elliot who aspires to become a professional ventriloquist.
