Children in Need

Our Staff and Students love Children in Need Day and not just because there are lots of cakes available. We’ve had a lot of fun today, raising money for this worthy cause, with some spotacular activities including a cake baking contest for staff. The entries were judged by our own Mary Berrys, Viv and Carol and it was a virtually impossible choice as they were so beautifully made. Someone had to win though and this year’s cake of the year title went to Laura Perkins with a lovely spotty blueberry cake. Thanks to all staff that made the effort though as the cakes were then sold off and raised £88.47 on their own. This year’s total, which will be in next week, promises to be our biggest yet.
