Daring Parachute Jump Raises £550 for Victoria

Dorset squash coach Bev Vatcher and her son Rory visited us today to present a cheque for £550 to Victoria and to LEAF (Leukaemia Educating & Fundraising charity). Bev and Rory raised an amazing £1,100 after taking part in a daring parachute jump from 15,000 feet. The donation will go towards providing our students with specialist sensory equipment and aids. We were also pleased to welcome Natasha Hunt, founder of LEAF and LEAF Trustee Angela Jones. After the presentation our guests got to meet some of our students and had a guided tour from Headteacher Simon Brown who commented “It amazes me the lengths people go to raise money for charities. We can’t thank them enough for their amazing efforts”. It was great to meet Bev and Rory and to thank them in person.
