Farewell to Alvin

Students and staff said a fond farewell and good luck to Alvin the Labrador.  Alvin along with his trainer Graham Elliot has been a regular visitor to Victoria over the past nine months. Team Leader Amy Hunt presented Alvin (and Graham) with a few treats. Graham, who volunteers for Canine Partners as a puppy parent, is responsible for training these special dogs from a few weeks up to a year old and brought Alvin in as part of his formative training regime. Alvin will now head on to tackle the next phase of his training before being paired up with his final canine partner whom he will be assisting. We are sad to see him go but wish him well for the future. Graham already has his next puppy, Moses, a seven week old Labrador. We are hoping to meet Moses next week and having seen a few pictures of him, we can’t wait.
