National Boccia Championships

Following on from the regional tournament Alex Elliot and Liam Drummond both qualified for the National Boccia Championships in Sheffield which took place at the end of April.  With some of the best players in the country in attendance the standard was extremely high. Both VEC players played very well, Liam had a great game against an old friend and ex-student of the school John Kirkpatrick winning 10-3.

Alex qualified past her group stage and into the semi-final where she faced a tough match against a very good player. It was neck and neck right until the end with Alex just missing out.
