Visit of The Mayor of Bournemouth

We were very pleased to greet The Mayor of Bournemouth, Cllr John Adams yesterday who came to visit Victoria for a guided tour. During his hour stay with us he was shown all areas of the school and had the opportunity to meet and chat to staff and students. Chair of Governors Keith Mitchell and Headteacher Simon Brown were on hand to show Cllr Adams around and to provide an overview of the work we do. From the main school Cllr Adams visited Physiotherapy, the Radio Station, Carmel House and Victoria Horticulture. As well as being shown our Aurasma video tour the Mayor also had a glimpse of the future of Victoria with a look at some of the new technologies currently deployed around school in which the Mayor showed a keen interest. The visit concluding with a look at our Hydrotherapy Pool. We enjoyed hosting Cllr Adams who wrote in our visitor’s book that he was “Very impressed with this amazing place. Lovely atmosphere”.
