World Book Day

Staff and students have been sharing their dreams on World Book Day. After a short introduction film of the BFG and a Midsummer Night’s Dream there was a costume parade where the students got to show off their brilliant costumes illustrating who they would like to be in their dreams. Have a look through the photos and see if you can guess. Victoria’s radio station VIBE Radio created some special World Book Day broadcasts as students created their very own dream jars with their favourite pictures and objects. It was then time to get creative with dream poetry and story writing. In the afternoon our creative arts team hosted a ‘Dreamatorium’ where the students could display their dream jars and have their photos taken. It was  a great day thanks largely to Beth Kay who organised.  Also special thanks to Katherine Webb and all supporting staff in helping our student’s dreams come true.
