Victoria Children’s Home

Our Children’s Home team welcomes young people from various local authority areas to our purpose built residential facilities. The team is led and managed by a Registered Manager who is supported by a multi disciplinary team of professionals. Putting our young people first is our number one priority; should it be choosing a bedroom, communicating with parents, or deciding which of the many activities to take part in.

On site we have a swimming pool, sports hall, outdoor sports pitch, playground, sensory room, soft play room, ICT suite, food technology room and large garden area with barbecue. We also have on site Nurses, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists. In addition to our on site facilities we have a beach hut situated at nearby Sandbanks, a mobile holiday home at Rockley Park and a whole host of other facilities we are able to access during the summer when we are able to get students out and about in our stunning sea side town.

Living at Victoria

Moving to a new place is sometimes scary, we do our very best to make the transition as easy as possible for young people and their families. Meeting young people and their families in advance is crucial so we can make sure everything is ready and in place for you from decorating your own bedroom to meeting the staff who will look after you.
