National Fitness Day 2019
Despite the gloomy weather outside the whole school gathered in the sports hall for an uplifting physical activity session to get National fitness day off to a great start. We are joining schools up and down the country in getting active and highlighting the importance of fitness in helping us lead healthier and active lifestyles. Head of P.E. Simon Higgins said “Fitness is so important to our students. Physical activity and exercise can have immediate and long-term health benefits. Most importantly, regular activity can improve their quality of life. It’s not only the participation, but also the social aspects of exercise and play with their peers”.
