Nick Thomas and students from Victoria

Singer songwriter and record producer Nick Thomas has been working closely with students from our Class BE, Arne, Furzey and Pergins students to produce some original music. Nick became involved through our creative arts week and the SEEDA project which involves musicians working with people who wouldn’t normally be involved with music production to produce an album. The whole process involves the students at every stage of production from themes, writing lyrics and choosing a musical style. Nick has just sent in this demo version of a song he’s produced with the students called ‘Proud’. The song is based on an idea by Sam Bird around the theme of Mum and Dad. We were so knocked out by it we wanted to share it with you.
