Oily Cart Theatre Company

Our friends from the Oily Cart Theatre Company are with us this week bringing the magic of performance and music to our students. They are performing their new show “Light Show”. They have transformed part of our sports hall into a magical paper palace, creating distinct silhouettes, in an exquisite play of light and shadow. During the show a serene papery white landscape transitions from a beautiful warm day at the beach to a dreamy moonlit wonderland. The show takes the students on a multi-sensory journey of textures, smells and tactile experiences, all accompanied by enchanting live music from a virtuoso double bass player.  The students are really enjoying this unique immersive experience as the talented performers adapt to their specific requirements.
