We are currently looking for two parents to represent Victoria at the Poole Parents’ Voice meetings (PPV). The purpose of the PPV is:
- For parents of children attending Poole schools to learn about and discuss current educational issues at both a local and National level.
- For parents of children attending Poole schools to give feedback to all other parents of children attending the schools they represent regarding educational issues discussed at the meetings.
- For those parents representing others to consult with the other parents at the school they represent and ensure that the wider views are also brought to meetings.
- For parents of children attending Poole schools to be made aware of any changes both at a local and National level.
Meetings will be held three times per academic year.
One meeting in the Autumn Term – October or November
One meeting in the Spring Term – January or February
One meeting in the Summer Term – June
Meetings will be held on Monday evenings 7pm to 9pm at the Civic Centre.
Each parent representative has a key role in feeding back to all parents in the school they represent the issues discussed at each Parents’ Voice Meeting.
Each parent representative will also ensure they seek the views of other parents in the schools they represent and feed these back at meetings.
Each parent representative will endeavour to inform the Governing Body of their school of the agenda items and any outcomes from the meetings.
Be better informed and have your voice heard.
