Riding Therapy

Many of our students benefit from weekly visits to the Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy in Bransgore. The Centre’s mission is to enable horse-motivated students with special needs to relate more successfully to others and to have greater and more appropriate control over their own lives. Well, we’ve heard that one of their special horses has been awarded a prize. Sonny was nominated for, and won, equine personality of the year for having a wonderful temperament and for his four years of service. TV personality Martin Clunes, who became the third FCRT Patron in 2013, presented the award to Gillian Hayes at a ceremony in London. We’d also like to add our thanks to Sonny and all the staff at the Fortune Centre for all they do for us.
