Livability Horizons

Horizons is based at Victoria Education Centre and opened in 2013.

We are a residential transition service for young adults aged 18-25 years old. We have a dedicated team of support staff who are well trained and experienced. The team understands the needs of each individual and provide personalised support.

Our facilities

We can accommodate up to thirteen individuals for residential and respite use. Each room can be tailored to suit the individuals taste and requirements.

We have a large kitchen/diner which gives individuals the opportunity to join in with preparation and cooking of meals if they choose.

There is also a communal lounge with choices of computer games and films.

We have accessible bathrooms including a sensory bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and other sensory equipment.

What we offer

Horizons offers young adults with a range of disabilities the opportunity to live with their peers, develop friendships, confidence and to identify their own needs for the future.

We offer support for all aspects of daily living. We are able to access facilities at VEC during the evenings and weekends.

Activities include: swimming, bowling, faith group, art & craft and pub nights.

We are central to local facilities and there are good transport links.

Visiting us

Visitors and prospective residents are welcome.

Please phone to arrange a visit, to discuss opportunities for residential and respite places.
