Sports Week Day 4

Sports Week day four and after the racing thrills and spills of yesterday the pace slowed just slightly with some varied activities across the whole school. Students took part in some interesting ‘Fete Games’ on the sports pitch including some sensory experiences. Margaret and John brought in their birds of prey which was a big hit with the younger students who got to hold them. There was a competitive balloon football tournament and MILE room and soft play sensory South American experiences.  The afternoon saw some lovely sensory music sessions with Hazel on Carmel’s lawn which was a brilliant way to wind down towards the end of the afternoon. If all that wasn’t enough our students have also been wracking up the miles in our ‘Road to Rio’ endeavor. Phew! What a full day and only one more to go with staff and students already dusting down their dancing shoes.
