Staff member Lauren Williams donates her hair
On the 9th May staff member Lauren Williams will be cutting and donating her hair to the LITTLE PRINCESS TRUST where it will be used to make wigs for children who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatments.
The Little Princess Trust is an organisation that provides real hair wigs to both boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have sadly lost their hair through the effects of their treatments. As you can appreciate this is a traumatic and devastating time for most children.
The trust relies solely on the efforts of fundraisers, as they receive no formal funding. Once the child receives the wig, they then have it tailored to their requirements to make it as original as possible to their own hair or to create a new style.
