Trio Simbora

We’ve been entertained this morning by the brilliant Trio Simbora. Trio Simbora (which means ‘Let’s Go!” in English) are Luiz on the 7-string guitar, Rachel on the flute and Alua on percussion. They played an entertaining selection of traditional Brazilian music which beautifully evoked the sights and sounds of Brazil. Our staff and students even managed some percussion playing themselves and really enjoyed dancing to the infectious rhythms of South America. Huge thanks to the talented trio and to Sound Storm for making this possible.
