Victoria Tramway

Our Rehabilitation Engineers Andy Besant and Chris Slade have been busy working on the new look Victoria tramway in their spare time. The original tramway was built in 2004 by former Teacher David Delaney. The tramway ran for six years providing many happy hours for the students attending Friday Tram Club. The train was put into mothballs in 2010 to make way for new driveway extensions. As you will see in the video, tests are going well and it is hoped that the students will be able to drive the train by remote control when it is completed. Judging by the reaction of the students who watched the test, it’s going to be very popular.
