Visually Impaired Sport Festival

Dorset Football Association, in partnership with Sport England are running a six week Visually Impaired Sport Festival at Everyone Active Rossmore (Poole) in June and July.

The aim of the six week sessions is to encourage partially sighted young people to give sport a go! By bringing a variety of different sports into the local community, the barriers to local participation are being reduced, making sport more accessible.

The sessions are designed for young people aged 14-25. Don’t worry if you are a beginner! No experience is required; they are all fun and social sessions.

Each week different sports will be on offer! Ranging from football, cricket, goalball and tennis! These sessions will provide a chance to meet coaches and find out how to stay involved!

All players should attend in appropriate footwear and sports kit including shin-pads.
