Well done Martin

Congratulations to Martin Cook who won the PE teacher of the year award at the second annual Daily Echo School Awards.

From hundreds of nominations three finalists were chosen in each section. The winners were announced at a glittering ceremony at Bournemouth’s Talbot Heath School on Friday night.

This is a fantastic achievement for Martin and the PE department for their incredible work in encouraging our students to be active and enjoy sport.

The award recognises Martin’s outstanding dedication to sport and physical activity and how he works tirelessly to engage with students across all abilities and physical activity interests, both in and out of curriculum time.

Well done Martin, you thoroughly deserve it.
