Wessex Warriors Success Story

Victoria welcomed the BBC who came in to interview some of the key people in the Wessex Warriors success story.  Sports broadcaster, commentator and announcer Tony Husband, interviewed top player Keith Harris, who steers his chair using his tongue.  He also recorded interviews with players Liam and Adam as well as Warriors coaching staff Hannah Powys, who is the Disability Inclusion Development Officer with AFC Bournemouth, and Jason Ganner.  Jason commented, “A huge thank you to all our partners including Victoria who have been amazingly supportive. We love Powerchair Football, it is so inclusive, Boys, Girls, Men and Woman all play the sport over a huge age range”.  The feature will be broadcast on BBC South Today in due course.  For further information on the Wessex Warriors please email Jason Ganner or telephone on 07768 142666.
