Why work with us?
Victoria School is part of the national disability charity Shaftesbury. We provide specialist education for children and young people aged 3 to 19 with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Guided by our values of being Open, Enabling, Inclusive and Courageous, we deliver personalised learning and support that changes lives. Every member of our team plays a vital role in supporting our students to overcome barriers, discover their strengths and build confidence for their futures.

Making a real difference
Whether you're supporting a student to navigate a challenge, master a skill, take risks in their learning or engage with a new activity, you will know your contribution matters. Our staff say the relationships they build with students, and the progress they witness, make this truly rewarding work. Experience is not essential for support roles – an empathic approach and ability to foster students’ development of independence and life skills is valued.

A supportive team environment
You'll be joining a dedicated team passionate about specialist education. We work collaboratively across teaching, therapy, healthcare and support roles to ensure every student receives comprehensive, joined-up support. Our ethos is rooted in shared learning and mutual respect.
