This dedicated Horticultural service – aimed at adults with disabilities – will provide unique learning experiences within our beautiful landscaped grounds. Trained staff work with each person in all aspects of Horticulture. Equipment is adapted as is the accommodation to enable full access to the programme. A typical day may include planting next year’s seedlings, pruning within the gardens, creating hanging baskets for the community or harvesting the vegetables.
The team also help service users create a range of gifts and condiments using a holistic approach to the environment which surrounds them. Accessing the service is easy for everyone as we accept local authority referrals and payments, direct payments or personal payments.
