Online Safety

At Victoria Education Centre we believe that learning about staying safe online is very important. We make sure all our students are aware of some of the risks to safety that are online and what to do to stay safe. Every student, parent and or carer signs our acceptable use of ICT and Internet form to make sure they understand how to use the equipment and stay safe online. Please see guide below.

There are a list of SMART rules which will help our young people to stay safe online. These rules can be viewed by clicking the links below and should be followed when using all kinds of technology such as mobile phones, games consoles and home computers. You can also visit the Childnet Website for more information and advice.

ASD and Online Safety – Childnet, in collaboration with Leicester city council, has produced advice on e-safety for young people with autism spectrum disorder in key stages 3 and 4. Check out the free toolkit.
