Functional Skills English

In Functional Skills English, Class Pergins students have been learning about virtual reality and future technology. The students have trialled different systems, including Google Cardboard VR and Oculus and they have experienced a number of 3D scenarios including The Arctic, and an Alien Spaceship landing. This has inspired some great writing and some super debating in discussion tasks so far. This is a great way to develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, and to apply this knowledge and these skills in life situations.
