Maths Week 2024

Maths Week 2024 is taking place next week. We believe passionately that maths is for everyone and the purpose of Maths Week is to raise the profile of mathematics and to build self-confidence and skills in this vital subject area. Most important of all is that our students enjoy the Maths they are doing and understand its relevance to their everyday lives. We are using the theme of ‘Dress to Impress’ to incorporate matching, sorting, looking at patterns, sequencing, counting, measurement and shapes into their lessons over the week. The class challenge is to make an outfit out of recyclable materials using these core skills for a ‘Trashion Show’ next Friday.
