Sports Week
This week we will be celebrating National Sport Week. Our students will be taking part in a whole week of sporting and leisure activities, some of which will be a new experience for them such as fencing, rifle-shooting, tri-golf and Archery. There will also be water-based and sensory activities. We are also introducing some friendly inter-class competition in the spirit of the Paralympics.
During the week, some students will also be taking part in boat trips and trips off site.
The week will end with the customary ‘dance-off’, this year with a Brazilian carnival theme. It would be great if students would like to come dressed up ready for the carnival. All parents are welcome to attend the closing ceremony which will take place in the sports hall at 2.30pm on Friday 24th June. The closing ceremony recognises individual student’s achievement, as well as the big announcement of the winning class.
