Stoke Mandeville National Junior Games – Day 2 Morning Report

The students who ventured up to the Stoke Mandeville National Junior Games enjoyed their first evening in Buckinghamshire last night. Simon Higgins has been in touch to fill us in on what they got up to:

The students had a great evening where we took full advantage of the wheelchair rugby slot after our dinner. Here, our students got stuck in during this exciting sport. There were lots of tries and some brave collisions when trying to win the ball. This was an event that was enjoyed by all.

We also had some excitement over at the cue sports; Tyler was ever so excited in beating Simon to pot the final ball.

Finally, the students (and staff) danced away to a group routine of Blame It On The Boogie choreographed by the fantastic dance teacher.

Just eating breakfast now and looking forward to the start of the competition.

We wish all of the students a brilliant day and hope they enjoy themselves.
