Victoria Radio One Step Closer

Late last week Nigel Vernon-Dier from Synergy came in to put our radio station equipment together and provide the radio working group with training. The daylong session involved much of the skills needed to compile programmes, conduct interviews and record content. This brings the reality of a radio station here a step closer. Time is needed to start the development process but ultimately we hope to bring student and staff shows to our intranet initially, moving on to internet streaming and then who knows? We hope also to make our station available in an outreach to the community capacity. This is all a long way off as yet but needless to say we are all very excited about the possibilities.
