Dorset Step Into Sport Inclusion Event

Victoria welcomed Paralympic athlete and Sky Sports presenter Kate Grey at the Dorset Step into Sport inclusion event today and played host to schools from across Dorset. The purpose of this event was to further develop leadership skills in disabled and non-disabled young people and inspire them to lead and volunteer in sport. It was also aimed at nurturing their communication and organisational skills and to improve their ability to lead in sport, whilst raising awareness of the opportunities available to them. Kate delivered a key note speech and then helped to run some of the sessions. Our thanks go to Kate Grey, Rob Belbin, Dan Moody, Nadia Dailey, ex-student Charlie Williams and Simon Higgins.
