Furzey Focus on Buttons!

Today for Maths Week, Class Furzey have been focusing on buttons. So many key Maths skills can be exercised by working with everyday items. The students have been sorting different buttons into groups, and working on colour recognition before organising them from largest to smallest and identifying which groups have more. These activities strengthen the understanding of patterns and relationships and are fun, interactive and motivating.
