UK Youth Elections

A massive thank you to our colleagues in the Formal Pathway – Michelle Crampton, Valerie Barlow, Sophie Chandler & David Henley for facilitating their class’s participation in voting in the BCP UK Youth Parliament elections. Classes Brownsea, Portland, Arne & Pergins all voted in an online election in February. This is an annual event, with all schools invited to take part. We are proud the have participated in this for some years now, giving our students the opportunity to participate in living democracy and be involved in community and national projects. We have received a participation certificate to display in school, which will be proudly placed next to our trophy cabinet.

Well done to all who made this happen, particularly Hilary Stewart, to ensure that Victoria School’s students’ voices are heard in the wider community.
