A Car For Daisy

Daisy, as many will know, was Rachel McLean’s favourite doll and when the school’s wheelchair transport vehicle broke down for good recently Chris McLean and family generously stepped up to raise much of the money needed to purchase a new one. The new Fiat Doblo will be an invaluable asset to the school enabling us to transport students to venues, courses, appointments etc. Matt, Rachel’s brother participated in a sponsored walk and with generous donations from Derek McLean’s colleagues and St George’s Church Boscombe the target amount came ever closer. An anonymous donor then stepped in to complete the total. In memory of Rachel a daisy is planned as part of the paint finish.
