A lovely donation from the Beer and Bluegrass Festival

This morning we were delighted to be joined by Martin Hickman who popped into school to present us with a cheque for an incredible £2,600. This amazing sum was raised during last year’s Beer and Bluegrass Festival, which is held annually in the grounds of our school. The festival features the very best Bluegrass and Americana performers and is now in its sixth successful year. Students Holly, Dolly and FoVEC reps Chris (Vice Chair) and Jane (Secretary) were on hand to accept the cheque. The funds will be used to further fund the refurbishment currently being planned for our play hall. Thank you, Martin, and everyone who contributed.
