Bethlehem Comes to Branksome
Class Purbeck have been decorating our ‘Victoria Tree’ for this year’s St Aldhelm’s Church Shining Branches Christmas Tree Festival. Our ‘Bethlehem comes to Branksome’ tree shows the town of Bethlehem with all of its houses and palm trees. The decorations were all made by our students. There is also a display at the foot of the tree celebrating the children in our memorial garden.
The Festival opens on December 9th and continues until Christmas Eve. There are over 60 trees on display, each decorated by members of the parish or by companies, groups and schools throughout the Poole and Branksome area. There really is no better way to get into the spirit of Christmas. Entry to the festival is free and they will be open every day from 10am to 7pm.
