Branksome Railway Station

Students from Victoria took part in a demonstration today at Branksome railway station. The lifeskills group from Pergins class lead by teacher Hilary Stewart aimed to highlight the difficulties disabled people face day to day when accessing public transport where no provision is made for them. It was also attended by Lib Dem Councillor Philip Eades who took up the cause after a visit to Victoria to chat to our Post 16 students about their concerns and a range of local issues. Radio Solent also sent a reporter to cover the story which was broadcast this morning in which the students and Hilary were interviewed.
