Before the end of the summer term, we welcomed members of Sporting Bears Motor Club, the Rotary Club of Parkstone and staff from Tesco’s Branksome store to celebrate the success of our annual Car Show.
The Sporting Bears presented the school with a cheque for £4,665, funds raised from donations for Dream Rides at our Car Show and Westbourne Car Show. They also brought a Bentley to school, giving some students the chance to sit inside, rev the engine and enjoy the air conditioning on a very warm day.
The Rotary Club donated sensory equipment and items to support students’ learning, funded by almost £300 raised through its cake stall at the Car Show, while Tesco supported the event with tombola prize donations.
