Champion Abbie

Pergins class student Abbie has been awarded the ‘Young Community Change Champion’ award by BCP. Nominated by Teacher Hilary Stewart, (Life Skills lead), and her class tutor, David Henley, Abbie was chosen by a panel of young people from a pool of six nominees.

Abbie has worked tirelessly; committing her Saturdays to running a club for young people with disabilities, volunteering at the Dorset Children’s Foundation charity store in Boscombe and is an active member of our school council. We are so proud of Abbie at Victoria and delighted that her hard work, effort and amazing commitment to helping others has been recognised.
