A highlight of the year, our end of term Christmas celebration was held this morning in the festive atmosphere of St Aldhelm’s Church. After keynote introductions from Associate Headteacher Olu’ Odunsi and Deputy Headteacher Tracey King, our school community came together to enjoy singing (and some dancing) as each class entertained us with Christmas favourites. Arne student Holly, recited a beautiful poem, all of which, coupled with the special atmosphere in the Church, was a magical experience.
This afternoon, a special premiere of this year’s school production of The Polar Express was screened, before musical performances from the students (and a surprise one from our therapy team!). A very special day indeed. Thanks to all staff teams for coordinating the day seamlessly and to Parents and Carers for their contribution. Very special thanks to Jo, Mike, and Christina, our Expressive Arts Team (with the help of Charlie), for bringing everything together.
