Councillors Visit

On 5th June, students from Arne, Pergins and Brownsea classes took part in a talk and Q&A with BCP Councillors May Haines and John Challinor as part of their Lifeskills studies. The students have been learning about what democracy means, understanding politics and finding out about the electoral system. This was an invaluable opportunity for the students to ask some meaningful questions and gain an insight into how local government works. We are extremely grateful to John and May for their time and for providing the students with such an interesting talk.
