A couple of weeks ago, class Portland student and budding ventriloquist Elliot supported one of his heroes, Steve Hewlett. Steve is one of the UK’s top ventriloquists having come fourth in the finals of Britain’s Got Talent with his puppets of Simon Cowell and Sinitta. Following this success Steve went on to support the Osmonds on their US tour and appeared in guest slots on Eggheads and Strictly Come Dancing.
Elliot performed in the support slot during Steve’s show at the Attic Comedy Club in Southampton. Elliot was very nervous but, together with his sidekick McCow, put on a great show for the family-friendly crowd and received enthusiastic applause.
