Home Grown Lunches

The eco school committee have organised a VEC Home-Grown lunch this year. Each class has been working hard to keep their plants watered in order to grow fruit, herbs or vegetables. Stewart Fitt cooked lunch on Wednesday 18th July, incorporating all the home grown ingredients we have produced. Yesterday, we gathered together to present Stewart with what we’ve grown. Our produce included peppers, chillies, basil, tomatoes, potatoes of all types, strawberries, mint, garlic and onions. Students also produced home made bread and soup. Well done to all the classes and we’re looking forward to a delicious lunch!
