Ipad Appeal Receives Boost

When our friends at Morgan Sindall, who are currently busy building our new hydro-therapy pool heard that we were raising funds to provide an IPad per class they jumped at the chance to help. A collection was organised and enough money to purchase two IPads was raised. To mark the occasion TV presenter, personality and friend of VEC’s Chris Jarvis visited today to make the presentation. Also on hand was site Manager Steve Plumb and area director at Morgan Sindall Paul Gale who commented “The Victoria Education Centre provides vital care and schooling for young people with special needs in Poole. Advancements in technology are of great benefit to people with learning difficulties and we’re pleased to have helped the school in this way.” On behalf of our students I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Morgan Sindall, their employees and to Chris Jarvis for their help in providing these great resources.  An “Ipadometer” update will follow shortly.
