Maths Week Activities

During their Maths session today, Class Furzey measured different lengths of ribbon to make a skirt out of recycled materials for their ‘trashion’ show outfit. The students discussed relative sizes, and what might be too big or too small. They then tried out the different sizes for the best fit. To add the finishing touches to their bubble wrap skirt they cut out 2D shapes for decoration. Class Kingston also made a start on their Maths Week outfit with some fetching hats. After choosing their preferred style, they got busy with newspapers and Sellotape. Some great maths skills being used today and it looks like there are going to be some great costumes for the parade on Friday.
