National Boccia Day 2018

It was National Boccia Day today and this brilliant inclusive sport is hugely popular here at Victoria and a big part of our PE Curriculum. Victoria plays Boccia to a national standard and we think it promotes teamwork, communication and co-operation among our students. We are also lucky to have Martin Cook, Boccia England’s coach of the year 2018. Today we took advantage of the sunshine and held games across Victoria to promote this excellent sport.

We also host the Victoria Community Boccia Club who promote Boccia to all people with physical and/or learning disabilities. If you know someone who may be interested in playing Boccia with the VCBC you can contact them by emailing: victoriacbc@icloud.com
